Long-standing Nantwich Show sponsor Mornflake enjoyed a brisk day of trading as thousands of visitors packed into one of the region’s biggest celebrations of farming and rural life.

The breakfast cereal manufacturer welcomed a steady stream of visitors to its popular stand throughout the day, with many taking the opportunity to stock up on favourite products, discover new lines and chat to the Mornflake team. Top-sellers were large 3kg bags of Jumbo Oats and Creamy Superfast Oats.

The family-owned business was once again a headline sponsor of the show’s Food Market, helping to showcase the region’s finest independent food and drink producers.

Managing director James Lea said: “Nantwich Show is always one of the highlights of our year and it was fantastic to see so many people enjoying everything the event had to offer.

“Our stand was busy throughout the day, and it was wonderful to meet customers, many of whom have supported Mornflake for generations. The show has such a special atmosphere and reflects everything we value as a business – supporting British farming, celebrating local food producers and bringing communities together.

“We’re proud to have been part of Nantwich Show for more than 50 years and look forward to continuing that relationship for years to come.”

The annual event once again attracted thousands of visitors to the Reaseheath College showground, where they enjoyed top-class livestock competitions, equestrian displays, countryside attractions, trade stands, family entertainment and an extensive range of local food and drink.

Mornflake’s association with the show stretches back to the 1970s, long before digital records began. Last year Nantwich Agricultural Society honoured the Lea family’s support with the presentation of a Long Service award plaque.
