Royal Arcade Redevelopment

Phase one of the Royal Arcade redevelopment in Crewe town centre delivered a new modern bus station and multi-storey car park.

While long-term plans are still being explored, Cheshire East Council is implementing “meanwhile uses” for the empty space next to the bus station and car park. Plans, submitted in June 2025, include landscaping, recreational facilities (like loop arc seating and a five-way swing), and paved areas for events, funded by a government grant.
