A famous face dropped into Big Mugs café on Edleston Road yesterday – Naga Munchetty.

Naga and her team were carrying out BBC Radio 5 interviews with local people about the Budget.

And Big Mugs of course kept them well fed and watered!

Cafe co-director Laura Donaldson said: “Naga loved our Tuna melt panini with extra black pepper and our Skinny Extra Hot decaf Cortado, she had about five of them!

“The event was surreal, we had loads of new faces in Big Mugs, a large BBC radio team. Our shop was covered in all professional sound gear.

“Naga loved the colour of our walls, she even took the picture of our paint pot to colour match at home.

“Naga and the team said Big Mugs was extremely friendly, homey and felt at ease the entire time.”

Co founder Josh Wenlock added: “Naga was super impressed with our coffee house and how we built it by hand.

It’s crazy to have an A list celebrity in our coffee house it feels like we’ve made it through another hurdle to get our name out there.

“We are super proud to be able to host this event to discuss the new budget and it’s lovely to make new connections and widen our scope.”
