Champagne bar marks first anniversary as Crewe Hall toasts sparkling year of success

One year on from unveiling its one million pound upgrade, including the stunning Sheridan Champagne Bar, Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa is raising a glass to 12 months of success, memorable experiences and national recognition.

Since the refurbishment, the Cheshire resort has gone from strength to strength. Guest feedback has been extremely positive, with review scores higher than ever before, with national acclaim. Crewe Hall was honoured with the 2025 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award, placing it among the top 10% of hotels worldwide based on exceptional guest reviews.

In August, the hotel hosted its first Chapel Acoustic performance with celebrated folk singer Reg Meuross, an intimate and atmospheric evening that was warmly received. The success of this debut has paved the way for a brand-new schedule, with live music now on the first Friday of every month in the hotel’s historic chapel setting.

Looking ahead, the hotel’s events calendar is brimming with variety and excitement. Highlights include a Mamma Mia themed night on 10th October, The Overlook Hotel, an immersive dining and theatre experience, transporting the audience back to a 1920s-style ball for Halloween and a New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball, plus festive lunches and seasonal parties.

The events team has seen an increase in enquiries and bookings for private events, weddings and private celebrations, with the upgraded spaces proving a major draw. The hotel was also a finalist in the prestigious Meetings Industry Association (MIA) awards, the principal association supporting and growing the business meetings and events industry.
