Crewe Christmas Lights Switch On event programme announced

Crewe Town Council has unveiled a packed programme of fantastic FREE activities for  Crewe Christmas Lights Switch On event on Saturday, November 29.

Families can browse the festive Market for perfect presents and tasty treats, enjoy amazing live performances and have fun with our winter-themed walkabout acts. Little ones can send letters to Father Christmas at Crewe Market Hall and enjoy mini funfair rides on Market Square.

The Cat Radio will compere live music, dance and theatre performances between 2pm and 7pm on the Main Stage on Memorial Square. Additional entertainment will take place on Lyceum Square, with live performances and fun family activities from local community groups.

Explore Crewe’s Christmas Market along Market Street, Earle Street and Market Square. The full list of stallholders will be available on our Christmas event webpage shortly and visitors can expect amazing food and drink and unique gift ideas for loved ones this Christmas.

The magical Christmas community Lantern Parade returns this year and will march from the Market Sheds at Lyceum Square to Memorial Square in time for the countdown to the Lights Switch On at the main stage. Join Father Christmas and stars from the “Jack and the Beanstalk” Crewe Lyceum pantomime cast for the big Switch On moment at 7pm.
