A charity Glitter Ball at Nantwich Football Club is set to be a night to remember after gaining support from a wide-range of South Cheshire businesses.

Women and girls charity Her-Place Charitable Trust, based in Wistaston, will mark its 10th anniversary with a glamorous evening of food and entertainment exclusively for women at the club on September 27 – and now is the time to get tickets.

There will be a buffet, live music, DJ, disco, raffle and auction with many fabulous prizes all helping to raise money for the Wistaston-based charity which provides services across Cheshire.

Charity founder Kate Blakemore said: “We’re really pulling out all the stops to make this a night to remember.

“It’s our 10th anniversary and we want it to be special. A chance for women to throw off the cares of the day and really let their hair down.

“It’s taken several months of planning and negotiation with potential sponsors to cover costs because we didn’t want to skimp on anything.

“Thanks to support from several generous local businesses we now have everything covered and can really look forward to a fantastic evening.

“We urge local women to be part of this. Book a table and come with friends or come along and make new friends. Dress up, dress down be as sparkly as you want – whatever makes you comfortable and ready to have fun.”

Sponsors include AO in Crewe, DJH accountants Nantwich, Legat Owen, Poole Alcock, Mornflake and Nantwich Town Football Club.

Many others have donated prizes for the draw including The Black Lion Nantwich, Mornflake, Steven Burgin Hairdressing Nantwich and Studio One photography.

Kate and her girls-only team will be ready to dazzle – think feather boas, sparkly shoes and chandelier earrings.

The football club function room will be beautifully dressed for the occasion too.

There will be goody bags filled with treats and plenty of opportunity for selfies.

Tickets for the Glitter Ball are £30 with all proceeds going to the charity. To book go to https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/glitter-ball-tickets-1300935546239?aff=ebdsoporgprofile
