Green and leafy Crewe

Crewe is blessed with many green and leafy spaces, most seen by the public every day and others a little more tucked away.

Take Valley Brook – a natural corridor across the south of Crewe with picturesque walkways and play area, accessed via Alton Street.

The brook runs to Queen’s Park and eventually into the River Weaver. Scenic, but often described as the ‘forgotten corridor.’

Valley Brook is one of the improvement projects driven by Crewe Town Board and other key stakeholders such as Cheshire East Council, Crewe Town Council and the Environment Agency.

Crewe Town Board is made up of representatives from the community, public, private and voluntary sectors and was set up to manage the Towns Fund bid.
