Sun draws crowds to Picnic in the Park

A sun-drenched Queens Park Crewe welcomed the crowds for Picnic in the Park 2026.

Many families took advantage of the fine weather to enjoy a day of entertainment in the lush surroundings of the award-winning park, laying down their blankets for picnics and sunbathing.

Crewe Town Council thanked Friends of Queens Park Crewe, Crewe Clean, performers Small Horse & the Plan, BLAG band, Chasing the Fall, Acrylic and Vavoom as well as various refreshment partners and all the local people who attended for making Saturday such a special day.

This weekend, June 27 and 28, the park will host Armed Forces Day with military vehicles, memorabilia, fun fair rides and food from 10am to 4pm each day.
