Crewe Town Council is inviting young people to design the Mayor of Crewe’s official Christmas card as plans for the festive season get underway.
Children and young people aged 4 to 18 are invited to create a Christmas card design based on the theme of Helping Other People.
The winning entry will be used as the Mayor of Crewe’s official Christmas card and the winner will also have the opportunity to join the Mayor on stage at the Crewe Christmas Lights Switch On event on Saturday 28 November 2026, as well as see their design in print.
Entries must be submitted by 7 November 2026. Designs should be emailed to mayor@crewetowncouncil.gov.uk.
Original artwork will be required if a design is selected. Entrants should ensure their name, age, address, telephone number and email address are included with their submission.
Meanwhile plans for Christmas in Crewe so far include an assortment of Christmas market stalls from JDL and community stalls, plus music on Memorial and Lyceum Square.
And the council is delighted to welcome back Inka the Polar Bear this year after his popular visit in 2023.
More details will be released over the coming weeks.
