Crewecial Crisis Café enters a new chapter as The Link moves to Nantwich Road
Community

A community mental health service that has supported people in Crewe since 2022 has entered a new chapter, with Crewecial Crisis Café now becoming part of The Link and moving to a new location on Nantwich Road.
The Link is now open at 108 Nantwich Road, providing a welcoming, non-clinical space for adults aged 18 and over who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health, emotional distress, struggling to cope or looking for support before things reach crisis point.
Delivered by Independence Support (ISL) and commissioned by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP), The Link builds on the work previously provided through Crewecial Crisis Café.
The move marks the next step for the service, bringing the experience and learning from Crewecial into a wider community-based mental health service. The new Crewe location provides a more accessible home for the service, while The Link has also expanded into Macclesfield, where its main permanent hub is now based at 1 Park Street.
Both locations are now open and the teams have already started supporting people in the local community.
Support without a referral: The Link provides a safe and supportive environment where people can talk to a member of the team, access emotional and practical support, build resilience and take part in activities and opportunities to connect with others.
The team can also provide information, advice and signposting to other local services, helping people access the most appropriate support for their individual needs.
The service is available to adults aged 18 and over, with no eligibility criteria or referral forms.
People can access The Link directly by visiting the service, while professionals can also refer or signpost people where appropriate.
The Crewe service is open every day from 2pm to 10pm at:
