Everybody Health & Leisure is partnering with The Dome Youth Zone as one of their Strategic Patrons, supporting the young people of Crewe to get together, get active and become part of their local community.

Everybody will be delivering gym and sports sessions at The Dome, led by highly qualified sports coaches, giving the young people of Crewe a safe, supportive environment in which they can get moving, build confidence and develop the skills that will help them take care of their physical and mental wellbeing now and in the future.

Thomas Barton, CEO at Everybody Health & Leisure said: “We are so happy to be working with The Dome, and we are proud to be able to contribute to such a fantastic project that will impact the lives of so many young people in Crewe. This, alongside our Crewe Lifestyle Centre, Everybody Crewe West, Cumberland Arena and Queen’s Park Café sites, represents much needed investment into Crewe and marks our ongoing commitment to delivering accessible, high-quality opportunities for activity to people of all ages in the town.”

Stuart Manifould, CEO of the The Dome said: “Everybody Health & Leisure’s support as a Strategic Patron means a huge amount to us. Having highly qualified coaches delivering gym and sports sessions at The Dome will give young people in Crewe another great reason to come through our doors, get active and build their confidence. It’s a brilliant example of local organisations backing local young people and we’re grateful to Thomas and the team for believing in what we’re building.”

With the grand opening set for 28th November 2026, The Dome is independent charity with a private sector-led board.

It will become part of the expanding OnSide Network of 21 Youth Zones nationwide, supporting over 60,000 young people every year.

Young people who sign up will have access to an indoor climbing wall, four court sports hall, training kitchen, music room with a recording studio, fully equipped gym, boxing suite, dance and drama studio, 3G kick pitch, arts and crafts room, and enterprise and employability suite.

As well as these fantastic facilities, trained youth workers and dedicated volunteers will be available seven days a week to offer guidance and holistic support. The Dome will also benefit the wider community and create permanent full and part-time jobs, as well as many volunteering opportunities.

It takes its name from a public vote led by its Young People’s Development Group, ensuring young people have been at the heart of the project from the very beginning. Once open, they will continue to help shape the activities, programmes and opportunities available.

Open seven days a week, 52 weeks a year, membership costs  £3 per month, ensuring every young person can access life-changing opportunities regardless of their background. The Dome will provide a safe, inspiring place where young people can enjoy affordable access to more than 20 activities every session, including sport, music, arts, employability, wellbeing and mentoring opportunities.

The Dome is delivered by an independent local charity in partnership with OnSide and Cheshire East Council and is funded through a combination of public investment, charitable trusts, philanthropy and support from local businesses.
