Crewe-based office supplies retailer Cartridge People has announced its sponsorship of an upcoming charity football match in aid of SCB, a charity dedicated to championing ability over disability by helping individuals build confidence, develop real-world skills, and find purpose in everyday achievements.

Alongside taking part in the match, Cartridge People have also paid for the pitch hire, raffle prizes and the provision of beverages.

The match will take place on Sunday with a 2pm kick-off at Crewe Alexandra FC’s Mornflake Stadium.

The event will see Cartridge People take on FC Nations in what promises to be an exciting and meaningful day for players, supporters, and the local community.

In addition to the match itself, attendees can enjoy a range of activities including raffles, refreshments, live match recording, photography and videography, as well as a special pre-match performance from the Identity School of Dance.

Donations will be collected on the gate, with all proceeds going towards supporting SCB’s vital work.

John Flanagan, Managing Director at Cartridge People, said:“We are incredibly proud to support this charity match and the important work SCB does in empowering individuals. We have supported SCB for years, and this event is a fantastic opportunity to bring people together through sport while raising funds for a truly meaningful cause. We’re looking forward to a great turnout and a memorable day – and hopefully our team will take home the win!”

A spokesperson from FC Nations added:
“We’re proud to be part of this event alongside Cartridge People. Football has a unique way of uniting people, and being able to use the game to support a charity like SCB makes it even more special. We encourage everyone to come down, get involved, and help make a real difference.”

The event is open to all, and organisers are encouraging the local community, businesses, and football fans to attend, support, and contribute to the cause.
