The all-new Bentley Torcal makes global debut

With these words Bentley’s Chairman and CEO, Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser, last night revealed one of the most significant new Bentleys in the company’s long history.

Led by Design Director Robin Page, the in-house design team at Crewe has created a low, sleek SUV that introduces a bold new design language, rooted in Bentley’s DNA.

The highlights:

• Global debut took place in London for Bentley’s all-new Torcal – becoming the brand’s fourth model line.

• Designed, engineered and built in Crewe and supported by a network of suppliers from across the UK, the Torcal represents a significant investment in British manufacturing.
• Accessible, rewarding and sophisticated performance with up to 888 PS and 1,350 Nm of torque: 0-60 mph in as little as 2.8 secs.
• Bentley’s most advanced chassis technology to date brings a new step in ride comfort and body control.
• The Torcal, which measures five metres in length, is the shortest four-door in the model line-up yet offers exceptional interior space, with a 460 litre boot supplemented by a 90 litre front storage area.
• Completes the luxury of choice, adding fully electric powertrain to existing ICE and Hybrid Bentley models.
• Range of up to 375 miles (600 km WLTP), with 10-80% charge in 16 minutes at 400 kW: ~100 miles in seven minutes.
• Handcrafted propulsion sound performed by musicians inspired by the beat of a Bentley 6¾ litre V8 aids driving experience.
• New interior materials and textures extend Bentley palette further than ever before, with clear focus on sustainability.
• Launches as both a core model and a more sporting S model.
