Students at Crewe Engineering and Design UTC, part of The Learning Partnership, are celebrating another year of fantastic GCSE results.
Students have received top marks for their GCSE courses, in particular in their Engineering and Design specialisms.
These results have helped them secure a range of fantastic destinations in the UTC’s own sixth form, other local providers and direct into industry apprenticeships.
Will Chitty, Principal of Crewe UTC, said: “The outcomes the students have achieved reflect the hard work and dedication of both the young people and the teachers. In particular we are pleased to see that all of our students have secured an ambitious destination.”
Abi Spanswick, T Level Sixth Form Student, said: “The environment is so much better at Crewe UTC, and I enjoyed every subject much more. I would say don’t make the move unless you feel comfortable, but moving to Crewe UTC was a decision I’m proud of, and I’m really glad I made the change. I’m particularly looking forward to the Employer Set Projects (ESPs) as I progress onto my T Level because they help me feel more connected to industry and give me valuable real-world experience.”
Charlie Peace, Navy Apprenticeship Fast Track Student, added: “I feel that being at Crewe UTC has helped me secure my apprenticeship thanks to the support and encouragement I’ve received from staff throughout my time here. My advice would be to try your best and revise hard. It’s worth it. I’m grateful for my time at Crewe UTC and would like to thank all of the staff for their support. Everyone has been fantastic.”
